Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software and published by Activision.

It is a part of the 2020 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale game mode, and the standalone version was released on March 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game is set in the fictional "Verdansk" map, which is inspired by various real-life locations.

Up to 150 players can parachute onto the map at the start of a match, and scavenge for equipment and weapons to use for survival.

The map gradually shrinks over the course of a match as a poisonous gas closes in, and players who are outside of the safe area take damage and eventually die

The last player or team standing wins the match.

In addition to the battle royale mode, the game also features a "Plunder" mode, in which players compete to earn the most money by looting cash deposits and completing in-game contracts.

Warzone also features a "Rebirth" system, in which players who are killed can be revived by their teammates at special "Rebirth" points on the map.
